Fire started in garage and quickly communicated to rest of house.
Firefighters fought for several hours, chasing hot-spots and trying to get
fire under control.  Lack of fire hydrants, extremely cold temperatures,
built-up ice and snow, and general access to the house
 made fighting the fire extremely troublesome and difficult.
No injuries reported.
